Making cupcakes - part one

Today we had an expert in our classroom! Marisa loves making cupcakes and today she shared her tools and knowledge with us. We were helped by Lucy (Jonty's Mum), his friend Caitlin, Miss Whyte and Mrs Simmons. There are three parts to making cupcakes. The fondant toppers, making the cupcakes and icing the cupcakes. Today we made the toppers - what great fun. On Thursday we make and cook the cupcakes, on Friday we ice them and add the toppers and on Saturday we sell them at the fair. We worked in our inquiry groups. What a busy week!
